No it would not and that would only further the cause of Barbarism. If what is left of a Suicide Bomber after the blast is doused with a goodly portion of Pig Blood, that would really put a dent in it. They Die because of Religion. That same Religion would deny them entry to their Heaven if they even touch any part of a Pig.

if we armed out Soldiers with Pig Blood, it would be more intimidating to the Terrorists than all the weapons of the world put together.

Every US Mother should send her son or daughter a small bottle of Pig blood to carry and advertise the fact.
Of course that would ruin the war and the Politics behind it. But So What.
To fight a successful war, you must find the enemies weakness and exploit it. That is the only way we could possible win this alleged war

There are three factors that are part of the suicide bombers thoughts, first their ideology, their religion and the need they feel to correct their lives. In their ideology, they believe that they are fighting a holy war or a jihad to remove the non-believers and to protect their nation. Religion is ingrained into all their thoughts, i.e. their prayers said throughout the day and if one is killed during a jihad, the souls will immediate enter paradise (heaven) and lastly they believe that they need to right wrongs inflicted by men that were supported by both the US and wealthy businessmen. Killing the families would intensify their hatred towards us, and send the souls of those slain to paradise. It is also amoral to punish the son for the wrongs of the father, we would be no better than the witch hunters of Salem or the Spanish Inquisition or Adolf Hitler.

A lot of suicide bombers do what they do for the sake of their families.
Most of the bombers themselves are from poor families with strong political feelings. There are no rich suicide bombers. The people who blow themselves up are pawns of a bigger political game. They believe in the cause, but they are being used by people who are "too valuable" to die. By dying for their cause they guarantee that their families will be cared for financially by the rich backers of these attacks. The same people who provide the expensive explosives for these attacks also give these bombers money to help their families. If it was known that the families of attackers wouldn't recieve financial support it may slow the tide of canidates, but killing the families after the attacks is kind of like closing the barn door after the horses have escaped. Killing innocent families of criminals just to possibly prevent future criminals from commiting crimes isn't a great way to make friends and influence people. It will foster hate (rightly so) which will inspire more terrorist acts.

We've already killed the families of the suicide bombers. THAT'S WHY THEY'VE BECOME SUICIDE BOMBERS!!!! They have nothing left to lose so they think they are going after the ones responsible for all their suffering. Unfortunately the ones getting killed in the bombings are just as innocent as the bomber's families were. The war mongers are the ones that should be stopped not the innocents of both sides.

Maybe or maybe just create new suicide bombers from extended family or friends. This is a very valid question, what can you take from these people that would make them stop? What would make them talk instead of kill. Someone gives the orders and they don't really believe the propaganda or they wouldn't be sending others to die in their place. Maybe if we find and take them out it will stop.

No ... Israel has tried to retaliate against the surviving families of the suicide bombers and it has only made matters worse.

Absolutely, no kin, no descendants, no next generation of bombers. If we kill enough of them quickly enough we'll get things sorted out in a few generations and there will be a lot more breathing room once we've eliminiated 2/3s of the worlds population. Or else maybe we could look at the disease rather than the symptom.

No because the suicide bombers would just feel even more like committing suicide

No, because that's just fixing an immediate problem. To eliminate attacks, one must eliminate or change the root of the attacks, which is the philosophy and mentality of the people who l live in those areas. They think it's the right thing to do. Until that changes, these attacks won't stop.

Don't be ridiculous. What a stupid thing to ask. Retribution is not the answer, ever. Despite Israel's tactics in attacking, imprisoning and even killing family members, this has only ever had a negative effect.
