TIME, its not easy to just say....okay I am over you. Everything takes time. I think that your getting out there and meet ing people is the best way to get over your ex. Eventually you will get over him, I promise and you will be happy again with someone else. And you never know, if you love someone, let them go, if they come back they are yours forever. Good Luck, your doing great.

You can't just forget the feelings you have immediately.Time will have to heal that for you. Another thing to consider is that you are seeing someone else an you have very strong feelings still for your ex. You say you are taking things slowly with your new interest but it really sounds as if you are emotionally unavailable. It would be fair to the new guy to take a break from him until you can sort out your feelings an then proceed later when you are truely available.

You'll never fall out of love with him, especially if he was your first true love. You'll need to work on "moving on". You can let go of the past without forgetting about it. Move on with your new boyfriend and get involved in him, finding out about him - while slowly letting the feelings of your ex go. It will take some time, but it is possible to move on and be happy.
Good Luck!

Only time heals these type of wounds, but another relationship can help speed the empty feeling and the void. You may not love him as much as you think, you were just accustomed to him, and don't like the changes in your life. Things will get better, and you will find it wasn't as mush love as your daily pattern was disrupted.

Yes it is hard to get over someone. Why are you with someone else so fast? That's not fair to your new b/f. I would take some time to yourself and try to fill that void with something else. Something that you enjoy then after your over your x then you can move on. Til then I would start dating others slowly! Good luck!

did fall out of love u fell out of like ! it is easy u love the person with all your heart but u have noticed that u have nothing left in common ,nothing left 2 talk about , nothing left 2 argue about, u have gotten to the point where u know all you know about that person, u love thembecause that is all you know is that person, the way they sleep they way they would leave stuff around 4 u 2 pick up. my advice is dont hurt this other guy , he will not take the place of someone u know!

if you truely loved this person you may always love him. i too have been dealt the same situation. after a 4 year relationship it all fell apart. and after 2 years, yes i still love him. the only way i've dealt with this is make myself happy. i've found someone else to share my life with. and yes i do see my heartbreak, we work together, and we've both remained in the same circle of friends. we are still curtious to each other, and i know that he is happy also. just knowing that his is happy is enough for me.

it is a struggle, here is a suggestion: write down some things and put it in a baloon and let it go, tell yourself if is meant to be it will come back..................that might help. It is very hard to move on but life is short and you are wise to keep trying to, there are lots of good ones out there not just the one!

Try giving the other guy a chance. If your ex still feels something for you, he would be right up your door asking you to take him back. Good Luck

unfortunately we cannot plan to fall out of love with someone,it just happens, usually one person loses interest and the other has no choice but to let go! it would make life so much easier if we could chose to fall out of love, sorry! let me know if you find a suitable answer to that question
