Walking. Uphill, Downhill. Just be hydrated. Jumprope is good and cheap.
Just how fat are you? Get good support shoes for the event you are choosing. Shoes can be pricey!

their are so many variables in the answer - when you first start to exercise you will lose lots in the first week or so (this will be water) and will go back up when your body rehydrates, the bonus is your metabolism will increase with exercise and good diet which will help with long term results. there is no clear cut winner for anyone a good combination of eating the right foods at the right times!!(important) and some good excersise (even if that is just walking that bit further, taking stairs instead of lifts etc) will help. dont get hung up on quick diets as you need a lot of knowledge to find which one best suits your body, often with diets your body will store fat thinking your starving. best advice is to have a little of everything and excersise. we were all brought up to finish the food on our plates when in fact we often give far too much in portion size. eat till your full. have a good search on line get some interesting menus for foods you like and find better ways to cook them ie grill ibstead of fry. all the little changes will help. good luck i hope you achieve your goal.

Put seven small stones in a row equidistanced, each having one foot gap. Pick up the 7th stone by Right hand. Go to No. 1 stone. Put it ahead of No. 1. Name it as 7th. Turn by right and come to your starting point. Pick up the 6th stone and go ahead and put it near the 7th. Name it as 6th. Continue until you keep No. 1 stone as 7th. Now stop there. Turn back. Now continue picking up the No. 1 stone by Left hand. Place it near the 7th. Name it as No. 1. Continue till all the stones are picked up and kept so. Repeat this exercise until you sweat. Every one in the family should join in this. Morning is best. Do this as a group. The best exercise to solve this problem.

In reality there is no such thing as spot reduction so you can not just target your stomach. As long as you are expending more energy than you are taking in (one pound of fat = 3500 calories) then you will lose weight. So the key is balanced nutrition mixed which cardio and weight training preferably a circuit program for weight loss.

Eat less, do a ton of cardio and a lot of ab exercises/lunges/squats. It'll get rid of your belly and butt. You need to have a good butt to match a good 6 pack.
