Legally it is not classified as a controlled substance. It's possible to get psychologically addicted to anything, but this drug does not possess any of the characteristics typical of a controlled substance such as tolerance or physically addictive properties.

My husband is on this drug and it is not at all addictive for him. He takes it once a day in the morning. He is supposed to take it 3 times a day, but rarely remembers. And sometimes he forgets period. lol. I would think if it were addicting he would always remember and then some. Good luck with your question.

I'm assuming you are talking about a muscle relaxer known as "flexiril". I would call it a controlled substance. It's a drug and it's easy to become addicted to it.
