Maybe we should all sit down and pray together and see what kind of result that gets.

Well, one small nuke on their capital might work. Alternatively, cut off ALL food and fuel imports to the country - they'll die of starvation in approximately 5 weeks.
To be really cruel, send out 4 plane loads of Jehovas witnesses - or does that come under the heading of "Cruel and Unusual Punishment"?

The simplest though is simply to blockade the country altogether. Set up missile interceptors all around so they can't use their (so far, rather pathetic) missiles.

That is, of course, if they actually DID use a nuke. Since NO radiation has been detected at all, it's very possible that they don't actually have a working nuke and all it was was a huge non-nuclear bomb. After all, The US have nuke simulators.

It is all double standards! North Korea cannot test WMD (relatively small country - unpredictable tho) but nobody questions China's tests or their dumping of Nuclear waste on the Tibetan plateau.

To make peace, prepare for war.

If you leave it to the UN, they will have an emergency summit meeting, after failing to agree they will set up a special committee to investigate possible options. They will then report back on those options. Two or three will be referred to a technical sub-committee which will carry out further research, possibly setting up working groups. By the time that they are ready to start the process of reporting back up the chain, the problem will either have resolved itself, or it will be too late, or they will have forgotten what the question was, or they will all of died of old age.

In the meantime, the US will probably have had to take action. By daring to do something they will incur the wrath of all those who simply couldn't make up their minds.

the more pertinent point should be : who decided america was the judge and executioner for the world. their track record is horrifying. lets never forget Nagasaki. America`s self imposed lofty position in the world is a sad indictment of human society. we are being controlled by a blood thirsty tyrannical empire whose sole aim is to increase their standing whilst eliminating their competition. be it physically, financially and/ or religiously. The american empire is the sword of Damaclees for the rest of the world. Unfortunately we , as a nation, are controlled by a buffoon who wants to follow rather than lead, accept rather than investigate and who will blindly drag us all into a religious war that this tenuous nation, and world, will not survive.

In a perfect world...

I think all the members of the Nuclear Club should get together and discuss disarmament. Without the nuclear threat, nations like NK would feel no need to join because they would no longer have the threat of nuclear attack against them. But hey. That's a perfect world and we sure don't got that, now do we?!

I think the USA means well but should do nothing in this case, let China and the rest of the Asian countrys sort out the problem. The leaders of that country are living in the past, let them talk with other asian countrys before the USA interfears.

have you seen the north korea webite, they are stark raving bonkers. Kim J got 11 holes in one on his first time on the golf course, being a dictator he can write any crap he pleases. Of course they should be sanctioned, but knock him off would be the best thing to do...

We should deliver all the nuclear technology they could possibly dream of to them. I figure if they want 100 nuclear ICBM's, let's give them 200 and be generous. Break out a few B52's and drop a few extras on them just to be sure that they got it all.
