Yes. Ther rate of conversion is alarming. Hindus have to sit up and take notice of what is wrong and mend their ways. The fear that by 2020 India will be a Christian nation may be a little bit of exaggeration. Under Mogul Rule their were forced conversions and also conversions based on allurements to prosperity. But India still remains 84% Hindu.

Christianity was brought to Christianity in the very first century of the Christian Era. it has had 2000 years there and has not progressed very much. Nor will it! The idea that India will turn Christian is a delusional piep dream of evangelicals, but it won't happen. If the untouchables want to abandon Hinduism, they would be much more likely to turn to Buddhism rather than Christianity.
Meanwhile, Europe is post-Christian, and I'll do everything I can to make America the same!

The fact is pretty meaningless without knowing the social and economic context of lower caste Hindus-perhaps they just do it for economic reasons.

I don't think we should promote our faith based on how many people are joining it, but rather by what our beliefs are and showing the love that Jesus brings to all people.
