I have this problem every morning, where I have time to buy something before work and their are too many unhealthy choices. By the way, I'm at a healthy weight, maybe a little on the thin side, so if you know any foods that are healthy but might cause a liitle weight gain, that is ok.

Morning is a great time to get in your fiber from whole grains. If you have to buy something, some kind of healthy granola bar, make sure there are no hydrogenated fats, and for protein try vanilla soymilk. If you can, eat a bowl of whole grain cereal with soy milk. A peanut butter sandwich on whole grain bread with bananas and honey. Buy natural peanut butter because most contain hydrogenated oils which are the worst kind of oils. These things might be a little more filling than fruit.

Do you have time to sit down and eat? If so an omelette would be good, like a wetern omelette since there are some veggies in it or something like that.
Whole grain toast with cheese is good.
Fruit & yogurt (low fat if you want, but if you're not worried then regular is fine) but try to add some low fat granola or whole wheat toast with it.
Just be sure to get some protein in there, that's important to start off the day. Protein & complex carbs.

I eat oatmeal in the morning with some toast or an apple. I also like to eat cereal since the milk is healthy for you. Try sausage, eggs, or potatoes some days as well. Hope this helps.

home made musli...like jamie oliver's recipe...try buying separately a large variety of 'musli seeds'(im from romania and i don't know the literal translation for all those rice-plants they use in commercially sold musli...but i hope you know what i mean)...after you get 3 or 3 of these....mix them together and add some dried apricots and figs and dates(with get a great taste with milk)
store it in an airtight container which will keep it just right 4 months and just scoop portions out whenever u wanna eat it, mix it well with milk and maybe some small pieces of apple. chocolate(dark preferably) is also an option.....and enjoy...it's quite healthy and gives you lots of energy to start the day...and stay away from the commercially made ones with also contain preservative, colorants and god knows what else...

Eat at home. Whole grain cereal or a whole grain bagel if you are in need of eating on the go.
