Constipation home remedies
Home Remedies for Constipation are a very powerful natural way of returning the balance to the body.
But what is Constipaiton?
Constipation refers to any irregularity in, or absence of, bowel movements. The slow movement of food through the large intestine and the amount of time the waste remains in the colon are factors that contribute to constipation. More and more water is absorbed while the waste is in our body and the stool becomes drier and bulky thus more difficult to pass. Home remedies can help in releiving constipation.
Regular bowel movement is necessary to remove waste and toxins from the body. Some people will have movements every day, some others 3 times a week, this is normal, although some doctors consider a person moving bowels less then once a day to be constipated.
TIP: It was believed that castor oil was a good remedy for constipation, we know now that it can cause dehydration and mineral imbalance.
Constipation can be cause by lack of exercise, too much junk food, poor diet, painkillers, antidepressants and/or pregnancy. However serious diseases can cause constipation as well, including thyroid problems, circulatory disorder, diverticulitis, colon malfunction (fistulas, polyps, tumors, and obstruction).
We recommend these home remedies for constipation
Take Apple pectin, helps with constipation and brings fibers into the body.

There are many levels of constipation from spending allot of time waiting on the throne to real pain and health concerns. Most people are aware that you can use an enema to help with constipation but obviously you can’t do this every time. Another approach is to use a Hand Bidet Sprayer. Primarily used for cleaning up after going it can also be used to shoot a quick shot of water up the pipes. This helps get things looser and moving; fast, conveniently and without discomfort. It also works great the same way on the opposite problem of diarrhea.

RE: Olive Oil for relieving constipation? OK, I just drank a few tablespoons of olive oil following answers to my last question about relieving constipation. How long should I expect it to take to work? Also, has anyone ever used soap as a suppository for relieving constipation? Does it work?

Pizza and stuff ?? White dough !!
Prunes are natures answer to constipation. Or go for Prune juice !!
Or get some Senokot from the chemist. It is much gentler than ex-lax.
Drink more water and avoid such heavy foods as pizza, white bread, get more roughage and exercise.....always the best way to loosen up and keep regular.

Drink some prune juice, plenty of water, eat some peaches, have a bowl of wheaties or grapenuts. That benefiber is clear and doen's taste bad maybe make some of that up and then mix it with some orange juice. If all else fails try a suppository. They work in about 20 minutes.

cheese does tend to constipate. you can relieve the constipation by drinking eight ounces of warm prune juice....
and you can avoid it's occurence by drinking at least two liters of water every 24 hours.
Cut back on the pizzas and try eating salads and whole grain products for fiber content.

Grape nuts cereal. Eat about a 1/2 cup serving about 3 times a week. Plus, eat an apple every day. You need to cut down on junk food and eat more fiber. And drink plenty of water.

One natural solution that I know of is using a step stool to lift your legs to the right height while shitting. Basically, it helps by imitating the squatting position which is the natural way that all humans should be in while shitting.
