What you describe sounds like an anxiety disorder....suggest that you talk to your doctor or to a psychiatrist or at the least a trained counsellor. There are classes and medications available to help you to deal with the physical symptoms, but you need to look deeper to find out why they are occurring in the first place.

Talk to your doctor about medication for anxiety. I know many people with the same problem and prolonged elevated heart rate and blood pressure COULD cause more problems later on. Most of the time, it's all in your head, but some medication or therapy should help.

Sounds like it... I get them too. Mine hardly ever happen, maybe a few a year, so I dont take meds. When they hit I just wait it out, try to distract myself, talk to someone on the phone.
They get so bad I cant drive, type, or anything cuz I shake so bad.
If you get them often, you should definitly go to your doctor.
Hope that helps :)
