Hi now a days you can get facial saunas for cheap, I got mine from super drug for £5, They are good for your spots and skin also you sinus when you have a cold you get different attach ment depend on what you want it for. You have to use the biggest one for your face though. All you do is the steam come up from the boiling water at the base of te sauna. You can use a bowel of hot water and place you head over the bowl and cover your head with a towel and sit there. The steam wont last long though, also dont steam for longer than 20 mins

Yes. If it's your face then boil a kettle of water, pour into a bowl and position your face about a foot from the bowl then cover your head and the bowl with a towel, the steam from the water will help clear your skin. Once finished remember to rinse in cold water this closes the pores. If you want to do your whole body then you would need to go to a sauna.

yes that can be done.. just place 2 cups of boiled water in a bowl, add 5 drops of essential oil that is suited for your skin type. Drape a towel over your head like a tent and lean over the bowl. Don't put your face too close to the water a good distance is 10-12 inches away. Close your eyes and allow your skin to breathe in the beneficial oils for 5 minutes. Splash cool not cold water on your face afterwards to close the pores. Make it a part of your beauty ritual- no more than once a week, its a good way to unwind in the evening.

oily/acne prone skin - Tea Tree*, Chamomile, Lavender and Rose

dry skin - Patchouli, Lavender and Bergamot

*NOTE: Tea Tree oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia) is quite aromatic similar to Eucalyptus & Pine. It is well known for its use as a natural antiseptic and for its antibacterial properties. Tea Tree can be used directly on the skin for cuts, athletes foot, acne, burns and even head lice. A must have essential oil for any medicine cabinet!

It's a great way to thoroughly deep clean your pores, and helps get rid of blackheads.
Steam the skin for about 5-10 mins by putting your face about 25 centimeters above a bowl filled with hot water. Add a few drops of chamomile oil (soothes), or lavender (acts as a mild antiseptic) to the water.
When done, rinse with cold water to close up your pores.

I would buy a facial sauna - you get them really cheap in Woolworths - exactly right size for your face and there is no danger of the hot water touching your face. Quite drying for your skin so use moisturiser after.

Yes, I agree with Cara, Put hot water in a bowl, place your face over with a towel on your head. I would do this prior to cleansing.
