I would like to insert a Power Point slide show into Movie Maker, but Movie Maker doesn't accept ppt files. I tried My Screen Recoder to convert the ppt file to avi, but I don't want to purchase the full version if there's a better way to do this. Any suggestions?

I also create PowerPoint slide shows to be played from a DVD. Its impossible to convert it to DVD player abled without paying for software. I use PPT2DVD and get good, smooth transitions. However, it does use alot of my computer's resources and I found out I need a new video card to support it. Good Luck.

Try saving the file in video format by using a converter (available on the net), I exactly don't remember the name.
After this click on import video and start your work

confident, all of it's achieveable with PowerPoint. All you would be able to desire to do is import the photos to each and each "Slide" you create contained in the presentation. then you certainly can upload "Audio" to the record, too. shop is as a .pps variety record. in case you're utilising workplace 2007 the record call extension would be .ppsx.
