Because Christians, Buddhists, Muslims, and all religions are made up of people. People aren't perfect. I am sure you can find arrogant people in all religions. Christians are taught in the Bible to love their neighbor as themselves. But that is not a guarantee that all Christians do.

Well the christianity has a bad upbringing ,whereas Bhuddism has a good one
reason
Hinduism is the mother of Bhuddism
All that one reads in Bhuddism have roots in hinduism and ask any Bhuddist scholar , Even Bhuddha was a Hindu ,so the roots are strong.

And when you see the history of India and Hinduism we were tolerant enough to face hundreds of invasions ,conversions, though 100,000 temples were pludered by muslim invasions for 1000 years ,all the best riches taken away .All that the religion has taught us is AHIMSA or Non-violance which has formed the base for Bhuddism.

Christians do belong to an exclusive club. However, everyone is invited to join this club and those "who call on God will be no wise cast out."

Unfortunately, there are some arrogant Christians and they are not Christ-like. They will find that out when they get to Heaven as well.

Buddha weighed about 600 pounds and preached about self control. Go figure.

Buddha is dead and still in a grave, if he ever existed at all. The same with Muhammed who most Muslim people believe he is God's son as well.

Jesus is alive in Heaven and in our hearts. Seek Him and He will be with you forever and you will be able to join the exclusive club as well and the rewards will be even richer when you get to Heaven.

Jesus became not a Christian. That term got here later. maximum 'Christians' I meet don't have a clue approximately what Jesus curiously stated. He ought to not have constrained himself to Christian acquaintances, by way of fact there have been no Christians around while he became alive. Jesus became a popular and a socialist who believed in, and preached, equality. He became against all styles of discrimination. regrettably, his words have been twisted and added to over the years. very like what got here approximately to what Mohammed stated. i assume the pair of them could be good acquaintances, in the event that they ever met. on the different hand, if there's a heaven, then they are probably drowning their sorrows and questioning how what they stated might have led to lots blood letting and conflict.

As a Christian, i know what you are reffering to. It is disgusting how some Christians place themselves above others and look down on them. Truthfully, they are not true Christians and are filled with one of the enemies to Christianity - Religion

They act as if they never had a past and never did anything wrong. That is why some of the greatest Christians I have ever met were the ones that we extremely messed up before coming to Christ. (drug addicts, alcoholics, Felons, prostitutes, and Pimps) they know what God has delivered them from and can understand and not look down on others.

yes, we have been called to mingle with "sinners". Not take part in their way of life, but how can we ever share our faith if we are rude and condescending to others and their religions. We must first be friends, and to make friends we must be friendly

Jesus did not tolerate sinners, He show them the way to salvation through accepting Him as the Son of God, who is the ony one who can lead them out of certain death because of their sins.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Tolerance is acceptance and Jesus did not tolerant sin. He abhord it ,just like His Father the Almight God does. God will not look upon sin or the sinner, because they are uncleaned. Jesus shed His blood to cleans us all of our sins, through our acceptance of Him as savior, and repentance of our sins. as well as changing our sinful ways.

You cannot say that you have accepted Jesus as your savior and still keep living that same sinful lifestyle. You cannot serve to gods. The Almighty God and satan.

Jesus was not brought into this world for the rightous, but for the unrightous, to repent and accept His as their savior. They must be born again. Just because He sat and ate with the concubines and the thieves, did not mean He tolerated there sinful ways, but to lead them from those ways. Stop twisting Jesus purpose like you just did in your posted question.

God is not tolerant, but patient, and merciful. But He also has His limits as to how long He will wait until He lets people know that He has had enough. Just as He did with the flood, sodom and gamaorah, and He will do it again in our life time.

I had a neighbor like this so arrogant that she and her family were saved and the rest of the world wasn't. I have never understood this attitude. I can't explain why don't they know that Christians are to be Christ Like in their behavior, but by being arrogant they are turning their backs on their Christianity. It's sad...
