Sounds like you have Otitis Media (inflammation of the middle ear).

Do you have any of these symptoms?
earache
feeling of fullness or pressure
hearing problems
dizziness, loss of balance
nausea, vomiting
ear drainage
fever

If so get to the doctors.

If not- try yawning and swallowing. If yawning and swallowing are not effective, unblock your ears as follows:

Step 1: Pinch your nostrils shut.
Step 2: Take a mouthful of air.
Step 3: Using your cheek and throat muscles, force the air into the back of your nose as if you were trying to blow your thumb and fingers off your nostrils.

You can also try a decongestant pill or nasal spray.

I had this last week- nightmare eh? I got Non-Drowsy Sudafed Decongestant Tablets (Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride- fancy eh lol!!) You get 12 tablets and take 4 a day day. It really works, I was deaf in 1 ear for a week before I gave up trying to listen in my lectures and went to the chemist!! You don't need a perscription for it and it costs about £2.15 I think. Get well soon xxx Jen

Hold your nose with your fingers and blow with your mouth
shut, then undo that and yawn.

That should work.
