If China agrees to support the US and Japan in strick santions on North Korea, and agrees to fully support the US in the war on terror to the point of commiting troops, are they going to ask us to stand aside while they take Taiwan as a payback for their help for us?

That's been China's plan the entire time. Hopefully we won't fall for it.

China has not supported the US with its own troops thus far, and highly unlikely it will do so in the future. It is against their whole foreign policy not to interfere. China will not whole-heartedly support sanctions against North Korea, as it doesn't want millions of Korean refugees to take care of in the event of starvation or the like. China would not need to ask the US to stand aside if China wants to take Taiwan back. The US already has indicated its withdrawal of support for Taiwan in respect for the Mainland China, although not officially yet.

I doubt it as the U.S. has been and will continue helping Taiwan build an early warning umbrella around its country to come to Taiwans defense against China.
