Since it was so effective to invade Afghanistan and Iraq in response to Saudi Arabias Sept 11th attacks, maybe we should try the same strategy again and try to draw all the rogue elements of the region into a controlled zone. Plus, I hear that Indonesia has oil.

Dude that is a perfect analogy of the Iraqi war...I love it.... We get attacked by people from Saudia Arabia (mostly) who operate from a terrorist base in Afghanistan ...So what do we do...Invade Iraq.... Which now has is a hotbed for terrorism...Great Point....

You make a great point of logic, except I would think invading the Philippines might be allot less hassle than Indonesia, and we might fool the Filipinos into first thinking it is a peaceful mission. The US can take back Clark Air force Base and Subic Bay. Not to mention the Philippine women are much hotter and promiscuous, than Indonesians and not the hassle of using all those interpreters who screw things up in translation like in Iraq! Most Filipinos speak pretty good English....The US could liken the religious tension on the Philippines island of Mindanao with the similarities of the fight with the Sunnies and Shites in Iraq. The Abu Sayaf terrorists in Mindanao have had real training by Al quaida, so there might actually be a worthwhile reason to go there, aside from giving the boys a much needed R and R trip to the famed red light districts of Manila and Angeles City, a far cry from the sad night life in Kuwait, Baghdad and Kabul! Come on George, let's put the boys to good work in a more fun atmosphere. You missed your chance in New Orleans.

Ignorance shows its head again. Doubt if you even know where either of those places are. Well you might have some idea where Korea is since it has been shown on maps in the news lately. Can you read a map?

Actually, Iraq was harboring terrorists long before we thought of invading.

Just because he's from Texas, you people think that everything is for oil.

I can't believe how narrow minded some people are.

This is an excellent recommendation. You should be a member of the CFR. Maybe you could be president of the United States.

Poor Bush just simply hasn't the manpower to invade anything else, though I'm sure he desperately wants to.
