Right and wrong are judgments. Every person has their own set of what they think is right and wrong. That, collectively, is their morality. The main purpose of morality is to figure out how to live closely to other people in relative peace.
When two people meet, if they have no common morality, it is hard for them to do anything together. Generally, people create another set of rules for that engagement. If the people are close to each other, those rules tend to coincide with each person's personal rules. If the interaction is temporary, like a sales clerk for example, it doesn't have to coincide much. I don't really care what the political views are of the person serving me coffee. I might care about a person's political views if I am considering starting a family with them.
Laws are society's way of establishing that common set of rules so that individuals don't have to each time they meet. When you go to a store, there is a certain protocol that's followed when making a purchase. Society enforces those rules to keep society running more smoothly.
Of course, personal and societal morality evolves as people and societies evolve. Some rules are so ingrained in society because of their usefulness that some consider them to be moral truths. They aren't really, and all have many caveats, but they are deeply entrenched in society. Many times religions like to claim authorship of such ingrained rules.

Nothing is wrong with Real Madrid. First of all how many quality players we have is irrelevant, I believe we have the right to buy as many as we want, don't we? And Barca were the ones who wanted to sell Ronaldinho. Real Madrid 'insulted' Robinho's ego by only offering him 5 millions a year. Poor thing! Second, Real Madrid didn't stop him from leaving, Chelsea's offer was ridiculous; They thought they could get a bargain deal for him because he wants to leave the team, well tough luck, you still have to pay a decent price for him. I actually loved Calderon's recent interview, it reflect what a lot of us think about Robinho's whiny ***. Anyway, he said that no one is stopping him from leaving as long as he (or Chelsea) pays what he owes the team. Third, Robinho is an insecure spoiled brat who needs constant assurance that he is the best most special player in the team while he parties all night and graces the tabloids regularly. Just thought I should let you know what kind of player you're buying... congrats, he will be your problem soon :P

I think you'll find that all these words turn to wind next to the reality that people need one another in order to thrive. And people don't get along with other people who think they are "gods" and consider mercy and love to be evil.
Right and wrong and human concepts. No man is an island. Because we need one another, we gather into groups--friendships, families, communities, societies, etc. This is done for mutual support, but the desires of separate individuals have a tendency to come into conflict from time to time. If I want a certain something and you want it too, we have a problem. We can either fight for it or develop rules by which we decide how each of us should act toward each other. A group morality develops over time, a social contract forms, and certain defined actions that promote peaceful coexistence and cooperation come to be considered moral or immoral. Individuals who choose moral action are considered good, whereas those who indulge in behavior deemed immoral may be labeled as...well...immoral.

todays society would say that there is no absolute truth; right or wrong. They would say our truth is what we make it. If God sets forth a standard, too many people, if they dont like it, they will simply redefine the standard to fit into their own mold.
The problem is that God is unchanging. His standards do not change, and cannot be redefined. this is one reason we see so much confusion in the world today. We live in the society that says if it feels right, it must be right and redefines the rules.
Bottom line is that there is a right and a wrong. but just as little children, we dont like it when we are told we are wrong.
Proverbs 15:5 A fool despiseth his father's correction; But he that regardeth reproof getteth prudence.

The standards for all things were announced in the Holy Book of the Messenger of God for His time.
In this age of global civilization, the standards were recorded in the Sacred Scriptures of Baha'u'llah, which are freely accessible on various Web pages. Just type 'Bahai' in any search box, you will immediately enter His Divine School for the whole millenium to come.

Wrong is causing harm to another person or to oneself. The presence or absence of "God" has no impact either way. Morality is born of of intelligence and awareness and does not require any connection with religion.

"Right" and "Wrong" are human concepts.
They help us to maintain order in society.
Animals have no innate sense of right or wrong. When they kill, for example, it's in response to being hungry, threatened, or just in a bad mood.
Religions create a codified moral code, just as laws do.
But all of it is a human creation... morals, laws, society, and religions...

My opinion as of right now is that there must be order between "right and wrong". Everything can be picked down to black and white, we just tend to over think everything as human beings. One must follow their intuitions.

Right and wrong are real and not real. They are people's views on something. I said this a while a go but, almost everyone thought what Hitler was doing was wrong. He probably thought it was right though.
