My friends all turn their noses up but once they try it they change their mind.
Is this the greatest sandwich ever?

~*~You're right, it is a great tasting sandwich, especially if the bacon is crispy!

I know what you mean about friends turning their nose up at such things. They do the same at my 2 favorite sandwiches:

1. Peanut butter, sliced bananas, & Miracle Whip.

2. Garlic bologna, sliced bananas, potato chips, & Miracle Whip.
I like garlic bologna instead of regular bologna, because it tastes more like the bologna of years ago. I'm now 61 yrs. old, & this was my favorite sandwich to find in my lunch sack. The chips were in a bag, & I would add them to my sandwich just before I ate it. U-m-m-m, tasty & crunchy! Even after all these years, I still love to fix my bologna sandwiches this way!

Yes. Very good. Also try peanut butter on waffles, and peanut butter on jalapenos and chili

I took a gourmet cooking class before and we made appetisers with pb and bacon. I thought it sounded terrible until I tried it. Pb and banana sandwiches are good and I have heard of people really liking pb and pickle sandwiches!! (yuck!)

No, never, but I do regularly eat bacon and marmalade sandwiches. Has to be on thick-sliced granary toast though with lots of melted butter... mmmm.

That sounds like someone I know who eats vanilla ice-cream with soya sauce. I haven't tried that combo of peanut butter and bacon yet. Make one and invite us for a bite, OK?
I don't buy bacon.

Sounds delish but could definitely benefit from a smidgeon of maple syrup as well I think. You could put it all in a pancake and bake it in the oven so that it's all warm and gooey. Heaven!

It could be I have never personally tried them. But I have a feeling that right after you get done eating one that you start to feel this weird pain in your chest, then your heart is beating erratically...Oh wait that's just your arteries clogging for all the fat and grease. My bad....

If you haven't tried one already I'm sure you really aren't missing anything.
