Its tough... and expensive.
I used to work in the fashion industry and seen it drive nice folks into paranoid back-stabbers.

Prepare for the old casing couch, that goes for guys and girls.

A degree dosn't mean a great deal unless its from Parsons or FIT.
Don't worry.. there are lots of jobs waiting tables.

I am not saying its imposible.. just very tough.

Seems like people do it all the time. There are sure plenty of jobs in that industry. If you have your degree and are willing to live in a small place and struggle at first, I'd say you can end up pretty successful if you get a break. Otherwise you can definitely live comfortably.
