They grow on both bushes and trees. But not underground, as peanuts are not actually nuts they are legumes according to the American Peanut Shellers Association. Please see attached link!

Cobb and Hazel grow on trees. ALthough ur Cobb nut looks like a bush to me.
Tina Turner thinks nuts grow on bushes, somewhere near the city limits.

Either. It depends on the kind of nuts. Peanuts actually grow underground! (although technically they are not really nuts).
