good point. Because I guess people are never meant to be friends even though you know they are there.

Some people just think they are the "thang" and you don't live up to his/her standards. Those kind of people aren't worth your time. Some people are uncomfortable talking to people online for the fear of not really knowing who they are talking too. Some people really don't view online people as "friends" because the don't acutally meet them or interact with them on a regular basis. Keep trying though, evenutally you'll meet some great friends! The Internet is how I met my boyfriend and we're still (living) together after five years! Good luck!

each person is different. Reasons they don't open up is that they still don't feel comfortable with the person. 2 months means nothing. Another reason would be they pick and choose who they trust, as people should do. A lot of people keep "friends" because of trust issues.

lets be honest just because a person is in ur life for a few months dosent mean anything. you 1st have to figure out why this person has come into ur life. is it going to be for a season ( i call this kind of some people seasonal friends beacuse they won't be around long) and then there are ones that are for a lifetime. finding out if someone will be around for awhile takes time. this is what is wrong with some people we try to make friends that are meant to be in our lives for a season into a lifetime and that's why we have so much hurt

People are scared anymore to open up to other people. Some people judge and make fun. So in order to not get your feelings hurt or get upset at someone else, they will not open up. However, some people are very shy and have a hard time opening up to others.

It's called social suicide. That is just how us human beings are made. In order to be friends with someone it is going to take more that 2 months to really know someone. Be patient, maybe those acquintances are the begginning of wonderful friendship. You are trying to hard to rush things in the direction that you want it to. Let it take it's own path and enjoy the ride my friend. All we can do is learn and better ourselves for tomorrow.
