dude, if you have a hairy chest, you should get a Mickey Mouse pushing a lawnmower into your chest hair.....the lawnmower should be the width of a Bic razor.....then, shave just a small swatch, making it look like Mickey is mowing your chest........

The tattoo itself is not so much an issue, but rather the location on your person. I have several tattoos but they are all on areas of my body that are not necessairly shown to the public. Like my back, buttock, upper outside thigh, ankle etc.... I took into consideration that I would have to work, go to PTA meetings etc...and I didn't want any untoward comments, thoughts or feelings about them. On men, most business persons do not look down on tattoos on the upper bicep as this is pretty standard. I've had my tattoos for over 20 years (and I am over 40), way before they were really acceptable on women. As far as the image itself. I've found that the furled Italian flag with an "Italia" banner beneath it to be dignified enough to not elicit negetive comment. But think very seriously before you do it, these are permanent. :)

I started w/my last Name, I've since had that covered. The theme I've went w/is basically a time line of my life. I have my right Arm currently half sleeved. Each item represents something & a time period in my life in which I was feeling. I have no regrets about any of my tat's and can't wait for my next. One suggestion I would make is too take your time and don't rush in to getting a tattoo. Have faith and confidence in the artist. My artist Grime grimemonster.com to me is great. He has a 1 year waiting period as he is booked up. People want to go to this guy, that was encoureging to me. If you have an ounce of doubt don't do it, the artist shouldn't do it either.

I would also have to recommend not getting one. This is coming from experience. I have 3 that I am currently getting rid of, at great pain and expense to me. So this is my plea to keep others from my mistakes! What is cool at 18, is so NOT cool at 30. And you will not want that on your body in a few years. Trust me.

I would highly recommend NOT getting one. They tend to work counter productively in later life when a good job is needed.
