In religious terms I am sure your teachers and religious men would say you must avoid it.

Technically - the labelling of something like alcohol free lager HAS to state there may be up to 'half a percent' of alcohol - just in case the 'de-alcoholisation' process has left even a tiny residue behind...

In reality many other drinks (other than water, 'might' contain such an insignificant amount of 'natural' alcohol due perhaps to naturally occurring 'fermentation'...but you would never ever know it or be aware of it.

The point is that the Muslim religious Law to drink no alcohol - whilst arising out of sacred teachings - naturally has considerable inherent merits (let's be honest alcohol undoubtedly lies at the root of much of the UK's social malaise and crime problems, and health issues) - BUT I suspect the real point is if a drink 'originally' had alcohol in it - and it has been removed it may still be seen as 'corrupted'...and therefore should be avoided on religious grounds...

PLUS...and this is also important...Alcohol free drinks without exception in my experience are C**P! Honestly...if you have not tried it... Alcohol Free lagers and wines are AWFUL.

You could try the natural grape juices and other organic fruit juices and otherwise - pure mountain filtered waters without any nitrates/chlorine/flouride residues...good for you and natural as God (whichever you believe in) intended! (And WAY cheaper than alcohol-free rubbish, too).

How can it be called alcohol free when there is alcohol in it? I personally would not drink it. It should be noted that the reason alcohol is prohibited in Islam is because an individual should be of sound state of mind at all times, I don't think this would make much difference to your state of mind but you should urge on the side of caution shouldn't you.

Also, too many non Muslims will judge a Muslim for breaking the rules in Islam. Eg: its obvious to everyone that there are many Muslim people who drink alcohol, and non Muslims will say 'but your Quran tells you that you shouldn't drink it.' In my opinion they have no right to say that, it is up to the individual how they will live their lives.

A Muslim would recall or refresh his understanding of 'Taqwa', stressed upon in the very opening Message of the Holy Quran ... Surah Al Baqarah. It should be translated as 'Ever-consciousness of Allah".

No , please stay away from these drinks!

Just an example :

What would happen to Milk if a drop of urine were to fall inside ? It would become unclean for us to drink.

There are so many other drinks on offer with absolutely no alchohol in them , rather try those!

I guess so as that % is too low to really cause any noticable effect. I doubt they would often choose these drinks though.
