This guy has done a lot of things. In a rainy evening, instead of going straight home despite of the difficulty of finding a cab...he stayed by my side (both of us had no umbrellas).
In our thesis, he stayed until midnight to help me finish while our other groupmates already went home. When my close friend blamed me 4 everything, he stood by my side saying that "Tomorrow, I'll take care oher, don't worry".
When he started avoiding me, he said "I did not leave you, I'm just waiting for that day when you realize that you can't stand your friend's attitude anymore...Now that day has come..."

It sounds to me like he really cares for you even if he doesn't love you. Its possible that he likes you as more than just friends. But if you don't feel the same, don't act on it!

Thats wat a best friend is who is always by your side no matter wat you going through. Talk to him to see if he likes you. Tell him how you feel the way he act and see wat he say.
