No swelling but it is tender. I think the problem is because i was tippy toe on just that foot and i was straining pretty bad. I could feel it straining but i had to get that damn sock or whatever it was at the bottom of the washer. Then when i was done it was fine and the next day it started to hurt when i walked but today it hurts more so it was delayed onset like when muscles hurt.

Based on the symphoms as you explained them, it may be a sprain or strain the signs/symphoms and mechanism of injury are similar, if its a torn Achilles tendon you probably wouldn't be able to walk.

Ok, standing on your tippy toes should not effect your achilles tendon, but I am not going to say that isnt possible. If I knew more specifics of the pain location, I could help you more. Achilles tendon pain would radiate from the heel area, but this should be caused by a different activity pattern. Do you have any swelling or redness in the lower calf to heel area? That is an indictor or achilles problems.

you may extra effective SEE a doctor and there's a robust risk which you will would desire to be ON CRUTCHES FOR slightly with the intention to enable it heal. have faith me, i've got had 2 diverse achilles injuries and stored strolling on them the two and neither of them healed and it truly is been properly over a year. ACHILLES injuries are no longer any comedian tale!! they're countless the nastiest injuries and would desire to be taken very heavily. in case you do no longer address them proper they're going to smash your existence continuously. the main serious concern to do is take care of them at an identical time as they're nonetheless extremely new because of the fact in case you do no longer, there's a window of possibility for healing which will pass and then it truly is going to likely be too previous due and that they might provide you issues for something of your existence. placed off each little thing if mandatory with the intention to do each little thing you may to shelter those tendons or you will oh plenty remorseful approximately it. examine my different solutions for some records on achilles injuries, yet see a doctor and heavily evaluate crutches for a month or 2. On 2d concept VERY heavily evaluate them!

You should go to a doctor. My wife hurt her achilles and she had trouble walking as well. When they did the MRI she had three strands un torn. If she had kept going on it she might well have done more damage. They did not need to do surgery, just a boot but it made a big difference.

Wrap some tape around it and resume your normal routine. If it doesn't clear up in a few days, they'll probably have to amputate your foot.
