I have a 2002 nissan altima and it misfires terribly. I got 2 codes when i connected it to the OBD II. The codes were P0507 and P0325 (Idle speed control rev high and Knock Sensor Bank 1 respectively). I changed the head gasket and spark plugs to a KNG Platinum. CAN any of these codes am reading cause the engine to misfire?

Any suggestions please. I have spent a fortune of this car already. I NEED HELP URGENTLY.

you have to trouble shoot your car not just throw parts at it and hope the problem gos away. it sounds like you have all the tools and scanners. now you just have to think a little before you go throwing more parts on it. have fun.

P0325 is an ingnition primary code which could cause a misfire. P0327 and P0328 are the knock sensor circuit codes P0507 code for idle speed control can be caused by the throttle chamber. I have seen coils mess up and fuel injectors not spraying. Either way your best thing is to ask nissan tech to give you some freeze frame data and we can talk more. Is this a 2.5 or 3.5 engine

Since you say you've spent a fortune on the car and it's still giving you trouble, how about buying a new car? In the long run that may be less expensive than constantly paying to have the one you have now fixed.
