Have you ever experienced anything funny with your FAITH? Is GOD kinda that funny?

I do not mean to offend anyone here... just curious about it! Mind sharing yours with me?

Funny "ha-ha" or funny "ohhhh noooo"?

Asatru writings are full of the phrase "And Odin laughed", so he's definitely got a sense of humor.

The only 'funny' thing I can think of was after the seventh straight day of 106 degree weather, with no breeze coming off the delta or the rivers in Sacramento, I actually asked out loud as I wiped the sweat from my brow "Oh, Blessed All Father, why can't we have something other than 106 degree weather?"

The next day it was 110.

One day I was trying to take a nap, (my son had been up for hours the night before)and I was reading a book with bible scriptures in it. I was just starting to relax enough to finally fall asleep ( I have a hard time sleeping ) and the phone rings. "Hello, are you interested in giving us $$$ for some cause ( I don't remember ) " I said " Actually I'm trying to sleep." " I'm sorry m'aam, we'll try some other time." I hung up upset cause I usually like to donate to charities, but I was grumpy cuz I was exhausted. The next verse I read as God is my witness ~

"Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver."

I looked up at my ceiling with a huge smile ~ you are too funny!! Couldn't sleep after that.

OK - a friend of mine has such faith in God.
She was driving her minivan down the road with her kids, she was talking to them about the healing power of Christ. She proclaimed loudly "God will heal my eyesite!" and threw her glasses out the window.
God did not chose to heal her eye site!! She had to stop the van, get out and go find her glasses.

God really does have a sense of humor! :D

I find some humor in the fact that God seems to have stopped the hypocritical Foley dead in his tracks. It's as if God said "Nice racket you have going there. Here..." and handed him his head in a bag.

if GOD doesn't have a sense of humor why did HE make humans the way we are. we might be GOD'S entertainment. wouldn't it be boring to know everything which is going to happen so what does HE do? well he makes a model based upon HIMSELF but puts a flaw into the model and watches to see what the model does.

Yes, it happens now and then. Even the most pious of ministers, preachers, etc. can have a sense of humor.
