If you wanted to send your condolences, I'd write to the local newspaper (or even the Philadelphia Inquirer), and ask them to pass on your well wishes.

That way, you don't intrude on the privacy of the community, but can still send your prayers or condolences.

like others have said through the media. the Amish are very close knit to family and friends. seriously doubt if they want a lot of attention brought to them. what is going to happen when all the uproar ceases about the tragedy. will anyone remember in 6 months or more save those who were involved.Prayed for them but after this plan on leaving them alone.

Your thoughts for them are very kind. If I were you, I would contact the police dept. that was taking care of that case. They seem to have a good relationship with those ppl and will be able to pass on your thoughts. Nice guy.

You will have to go there. They have no phones. They probably will not accept charity from anyone. They are a humble people who accept this tragedy as God's will. They know where there children who were killed are. They know they are with God.

God bless you for your kind and thoughtful heart.

They are a very private people.
I can understand you and others would like to be in touch.
You have to respect THEIR feelings.
This does not stop you praying for them.

I doubt they'd want you to go there. Best not. Contact their local law officials if you want to do something good for them.
