would your god forgive her? Or would she be in eternal damnation?

Before anyone gets all offended, I was in this situation and had I gotten pregnant, I know I would've killed myself.

Forgive her for what? I'd feel very sad for her, and her family. Suicide is something that people do because they don't see any good in their future at all. A woman who is in that situation would understandably feel that way. She has done nothing wrong....it would still make me very sad that such an injustice had been done to her. ((((((Spookshow)))))) I didnt know that honey, sorry you had to go through that!!

Suicide is a complete disregard for the sacredness of life, its a self-centered act wherein the person shows no consideration for the person's loved ones who are left behind to deal with the loss of their family member or friend and, in the scenario you mention, does not even consider the life of an unborn, innocent child who, through no fault of its own, was conceived. However, according to your scenario of having been raped, and taking into consideration that according to scripture, God is merciful and forgiving, I can't imagine that God would not take into consideration the mind set and heart condition of the person at the time. It isn't our place to say what he will or will not do. As for eternal damnation, since the dead are conscious of nothing at all (Ecclesiastes 9:5), the worst it could be for them is eternal destruction without the hope of a resurrection...no firey hell where they'll be tormented forever for their sins.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

There is nothing that you cant do or get through as long as you have Jesus in your life. Turn it all over to Jesus. If you have not accepted Jesus as your savior, today is a new day and you can become born again by inviting Jesus into your heart and life.

I too am a rape survivor. I did not get pregnant, but I did survive. Praise the Lord.

Here is your way to obtain salvation.
If you want to accept Christ, you can ask Him to be your Savior and Lord by praying a prayer like this:

"Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always." In the precious name of Jesus, amen

Did you pray this prayer? I pray your answer was YES

God bless you.

Hmmm, this is comeing from someone that does not believe in the "traditional" God. Killing one self in wrong....we know this. I have thought of killing myself on more then one occation in the distant past....then I had a revelation. Who will it affect? Would I be missed? Would my death cause mortal pain in others? To answer your question bluntly....if someone was intent on killing themself without a doubt because she was raped.....if I were female I would hunt the person down, devote myself to finding the man, destroy his life in every way possiable, then off myself....but by then why kill yourself? Have an abortion and go on with life. Once you are dead, there is no coming back.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of 2 very important lives. Let me see if I can shed some light on this subject for you.

The word of God says this: "Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. Let the people turn from their wicked deeds. Let them banish from their minds the very thought of doing wrong! Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will abundantly pardon." The Scripture then goes on to say this: "My thoughts are completely different from yours, says the Lord." "And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts."

I don't know where your friend stood with God, but I do know that his thoughts are higher than ours. I'm sure he saw the suffering, pain, and confusion associated with this horrible crime just as he sees the fear and pain of uncertain eternity in your heart. Jesus gave his life for all of us. All we have to do is ask him to first forgive and then come in. We need to let him know that we know he is God's son and that we know he died for our sins so we would no longer be separated from God our father.

I really hope you find this helpful. I pray for peace for you and the family of the young woman.

It is not our earthly circumstances that God looks at, it it our heart.

No matter what happened or didnt happen to the lady in question, what matters is what was in her heart. Did she accept Jesus Christ as her personal savior? Was her heart set on following Gods will and way in her life?

We all make mistakes on this earth, what matters is what we believe in our hearts.

If you look at the life of Lot in the book of Genesis, you will find many things that he did that would seem bad and the question could be asked "Will he be eternally dammed for those things?"

But, we see that God called Lot rightous, not because of the mistakes that he made, but because of the fact that he believed in his heart that God was his creator.
So, the answer to your question is I do not know, because you did not mention if she had accepted God as her creator and Jesus Christ as her personal savior.

suicide isnt a sin. my dads opinion is that it depends on the reason and what the person was thinking before they killed theirself. some girls would kill themselves after being raped, i mean think about it, they probly feel like they have been totally violated in everyway possible, and that no one will ever think of them as a human being that actually needs to be loved, just this girl is hott and can be used as a toy... i would probly kill myself as well. or go kill the guy, but then you would be put in prison for murder and whats the point???

God created us & ownz our livez, & if one commitz suicide, they will go to hell . bcoz our livez are not ourz, God gave it to us, & God should be the one to take it away for us later on. PLUS, suicide iz NEVER the solution, i mean, how would u know what awaits u in the after life ? u think "this life" iz worse that somethin' hidden in the "unknown"? there are many solutionz to get over anything that causez u pain, & if u give anything time to heal, it will & u will be able to forget about it & move on.
Keep faith alive , have faith in God, believe he will help u & Have hope in recovering from ur pain & sooner or later u will.

I have no idea what God would do. Anyone who tells you they know what God would do in any specific situation, is nuts. It's like if you had an ant farm, and the ants thought they could understand and predict you.

No, and no. There are no gods to forgive her of anything. There is no eternal damnation. When you die, you're dead.

It would be just sad that a person was driven to do so.
