I have curly hair, and i was thinking of cutting a fringe and making it straighting leaving the rest of my hair curly. Do you think it will look weird? Half curls and the rest straight....

As long as you curl the straight hair under so that it isn't pin straight it can make a smooth transition into the curly hair. Its what i do anyway.

I think it would sound cute if you had straight bangs and curly hair. The way you plan it would make a statement, but I don't know if you really would want to make that statement and it would be hard to manage.
What would the statement be?

I think you will look pretty hip to be honest.
My good friend is wearing the same/similar style.
It will bring the attention to your eyes, so put some errort there.
