What is the best (and least expensive) way to learn more about how to use computers?

I live far away from schools but I want to do so much more with the computer than I know how to do. Everything I know has been learned by trial and error (which is very time consuming).

Since you have the Internet, you can do a search on your topic of interest... That is, do a Google search on " tutorial"

e.g. Word tutorial

There's a TON of tutorials out there... pick one and GO!

They are pretty easy things to learn you just need to play around with it. Trial and Error was the cheapest and the best way for me.
