Dogs are like babies and toddlers. They need a lot more attention and someone to play with them constantly and you often find them drooling. Cats are like sophisticated graduates at a cocktail party. They have a cool sense about them, they can entertain themselves and they know how to groom themselves. Some can be whiney I think if they're too catered to, to begin with (like one of my cats :-/).

Cats aren't even in the same category as dogs regarding intelligence. Dogs, yeah they're loyal and obedient, but they feel like they have to work for your affection. Cats however, make YOU work for THEIR affection. Who's smarter?

No, cats aren't even up there with dogs. Cats aren't even in the same zip code as cool. Dogs are loyal and will please you and will always love you as to cats, being just stubborn, self-centered, stupid cheese balls that just paw at stupid feathers on a stick.
