In the spring I met a guy at a series of parties. He was nice, but at the time I was still healing from a bad break-up, and not really looking. Then about a week and a half ago (Sept. 27th) I went to a party, and he was there. We flirted a bit, and he walked away with my number. He didn't call. So the Monday after I found him on Myspace, asked him to be my friend, and on Thursday I sent him a message. Sunday he finally sent me a message back saying he'd call me that night. He still hasn't called.
I've heard from friends that he's shy around girls, and has been hurt before (but who hasn't). Should I give him a chance, and keep waiting for a call, or just forget it? He did say in the message that he was busy and wanted to see me this week, but tomorrow night is the only night I have free. He's a great guy, and I really want to give him a chance, but I'm frustrated that he's not calling.

know him said that they're sure he's interested because he's not usually so bold as to ask for a number, and actually follow up on it. Have I already done enough contacting him through myspace, or should I try to call him because I know he's busy and may not get a chance to? I don't want to set a precedent of doing all the work in a relationship, I did that and it's NO fun.

you did your part its time for him to do his, He may be busy he maybe shy but if he really likes you then hes going to make the effort to see you of call you, no doubt. just be sure that when he does that you dont scare him off, " geeze ive been wating forever for you to call" tell him how much you appreciate him taking the time out of his day to talk to you,

honesty, he might be shy but he might have a gf
it could go either way
now if he was hurt in the path and he is scare to get hurt again
u cant blame cuz i m in that situation and when ever i see a girl catching too much feelings for me then i just close myself up and become distance which he looks like he s doing
also if had a girl i will say that i m busy because i will always be with her and do not have time to call cuz she is always there
also what i have learn if someone is really interested in someone they will make time
that bull s h i t if they say they are busy
last weekend i had a date and i was sick but i really like the girl
so i took all my medicine and i made to our date and i had a great time
so no excuses
dont call him or email him let him email or contact u

If you told him it's OK to call and he doesn't something is wrong. I am shy, but if a girl gives me her number, I take advantage of the situation. I hate having to ask for it myself. Myspace is not the best place. Tell him directly (in person) to call and if he likes you, he will!

I would say be patient for a little bit longer. If you haven't heard from him in a week or so then I would move on. He may just be extremely busy right now with work or whatever. Good Luck!

I'd reccomend you take care of your laundry and dishes and go out with friends. You should go out and meet boys. That call will come or it won't. You've done all in your power stop waiting by the phone.

If he is shy, you should make the first step. I mean ask him out directly, not through a phone call. Trust me, if like someone, it's really hard to make that call.... Best of luck

If he's interested...he will call. The worse thing you can do though is sit around and wait for that phone to ring. It will happen when you least expect it.

i think he is just trying to show level or he is not interested in you or trying to enjoy with you and make you a timepass
