This sounds so ridiculous but i love turquoise and purple and def want these colors for my wedding, but i dont know if it will fit with the 1920's theme. Do you have any suggestions... re: color or theme?

purple and turquoise...DEFINETELY PEACOCK FEATHERS. and tons of them. you can now get the ones with "eyes as well as some regular feather shaped ones in that lovely turquoisey green color. that sounds awesome. just make sure you keep with the times and have lots of swing swing swing!

Love the colors! I worked an upscale event once, and the women were all in flapper dresses, those little tiny hats with the netting/lace just covering the eyes and nose, and feather boas, and yes, they used peacock feathers for centerpieces. Oh, and they were all carrying tiny little decorated purses/clutches. It worked beautifully.
I even got to keep one of the peacock feathers, it's on my desk in a wine bottle, right in front of me right now, so if you can get enough of them, those might make great souveniers for the guests.

I think those colors are just right for a 20's wedding. you will need feathers, peacock I think, and sparkle to make the whole effect.

that sounds pretty! it is your wedding! you can use whatever colors you want....you only get married only once...well some people do lol i love those 2 colors too. i think any colors work now-days...i heard a friend of a friend talking about a wedding they went to the other day and the colors were hot pink and black. i thought that was odd...but if that is what they wanted....

at the beginning, eye-catching hues! i might flow with that cake, different than take the birds out. to replace the birds, upload great frosting flowers in dark pink, chocolate, beige, and lightweight turquoise. i think of which would be superb. for the bridesmaids outfits, i think of gentle turquoise blue might look great, strapless, with a beige bow around the waist. the marriage gown could be knee length. for my area that would look superb. dark pink table cloths, with beige vases packed with gentle turquoise and dark pink flowers (real or faux). chocolate colored ribbons could be tied to the chairs! then flower pedals in gentle turquoise and dark chocolate could be sprinkled on the tabled. oh and congrats!! desire this helps!!! xoxoxo

You need to watch some old 1920's movies for better ideals.

You'll need to get some blck & white photogs, you can even have turquoise & purple air brushed on in accent places. That would be so cool.

I love the colours, you can accent with a silver or gold, just to blend it, if that is what you want.
the theme sounds awsome to me, congrats on the wedding
