They did as they wanted. There was no immorality because by mutual consent it was all good. God agreed with whatever they did and said it was good. It was Lucifer that he threw out of heaven to tempt the human race that created the problem. If He had dealt with Lucifer in heaven instead of sending him down here to us maybe no one would have been tempted and no one would have committed the orig anal sin. Then doesn't that make the error God's for tempting us in the first place?

It is true that where there is no law to break, then there can be no transgression. But God did give Adam at least ONE law: not to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Adam and Eve broke that ONE SINGLE law given to them.
But why so great a penalty for so simple an act of disobedience? It does not necessarily require some great act to prove or to
disprove one's loyalty to another. By means of the forbidden tree, God taught Adam that he had the right to make demands of him and expect to be obeyed. Man's obedience was to be tested in the matter of property, which was an outward and sensible sign of a right state of heart toward God. Moreover, God made it clear that obedience was an issue of life and death.

Genesis 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
tree Gen 3:2
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
The knew what God told them they could do and what they could not do and what the consequences would be if they disobeyed Him.

There was no such thing. They only knew good, and no evil. That is why it is referred to as the "tree of knowledge". Until they had eaten the fruit, they were innocent of any wrong. This is how it was easy for Satan to manipulize them, because evil thoughts didn't "register" with them.
