I have dark blonde hair with highlights. I wanted to get the brassy red color out and put a blue violet base color to get rid of the red. The color came out great, but the highlights grabbed a little to much of the blue/violet base and now they have a slight blue hue to them. It is barely noticable, but I know it's there. How can I correct this without losing the color on my hair that I like. Any suggestions would be great.

i color my hair and i once used a shade one darker than my usual one and it gave my hair a blueish gray tint....i called the number on they dye box and they wanted me to spend like $200 to get it fixed. All i had to do is to go get my usual shade and dyed my hair again and all the blue was gone. Just get one shade lighter than you used and you should be fine!!

Good Luck!!!
