It was working for awhile then while driving, suddenly all my speakers just stop working. But I can still see my CD player running, so did I blew a fuse or are the wires that I connected interfering?

I had a somewhat similar situation a while back - I was hooking up an amp while the cd deck was on. I accidentally shorted the turn-on wire (which was supposed to have a fuse, but I wired together) for the amp to ground, and lost all speaker output, yet the cd player display functioned. The repair shop told me that it needed the "logic chip" replaced - which would cost more than the cd player was worth.

First, check to confirm audio output by connecting just one pair of speakers. If that works you properly have connected the other speakers in Parallel and thus lowered the impedance so low the amp is 'clipping' and shutting down. If the single pair of speakers do not work you have blown a output fuse or the output section of your amp or deck.

I would check the large plug hasnt worked its way out of its socket on the rear of the head unit then check wires coming from it. If it is a fuse sometimes it is inside the head unit on the circuit board. Its quite small and sometimes not easy to spot.
Also disconnect the last speakers you attatched just to see if the output stage is overloaded.

something is grounding out. internal circuitry turning itself off, while the cd player keeps going.

you could call somewhere local that installs car stereos as their business and ask someone there that would know what they are talking about:
Circuit City and Electronic Express are 2 that I know of that do it.
