I need to know how to hook it to a TV, VCR, and DVD player. I hooked it everything works execpt the vcr you can hear the sound but get no picture.

I HAD THAT PROBLEM WITH MY DVD PLAYER. I GET A PICTURE BUT NO SOUND. I HAVE TO UNPLUG THE RED WIRE JUST TO GET SOUND WHEN I WATCH A MOVIE

There are several connections available, so be sure not to mix them up. The lowest level and poorest quality is composite; these are the yellow, red and white cables with phono plugs at the end. Make sure they go to the similarly-colored jacks on your TV. The next best is s-video, which is a small round connector with 4 pins inside. You have to use this with the red and white sound cables. Next best (if your TV and DVD player have it is component cable which are colored red blue and green. Again, these have to be used with the white and red sound cables. Finally there is HDMI, which is digital. The VCR can only use composite or s-video. you must use one that is not used for another source. Then you must select that input on your TV input selector. It will be called EXT-1 or EXT-2 or something like that. It will be labeled on the TV as to which input it is. Most TVs have input selection on the remote control which cycles through the different inputs each time the button is pressed.
