Well that really depends. They egyptians beleived in many gods not just ra. But in ancient egypt also lived the Hebrews which were slaves at the time who beleived in God (christianity)

That you don't live in ancient times. And who would want to? No electricity, bad health systems, hard labor and low pay. No one's putting a gun to your head on who you worship. If you want Ra, go wild.

I would personally not worship the king of the gods in these cultures. I would much prefer to sacrifice my lifestock to the wisdom gods, such as Thoth, Minerva, and Pallas Athene.
