You can do one of two things. If you have a tattoo removed already, than you may be able to cover it with another one however only a qualified tattoo artist can tell you that after inspection of the scarred area.

Your other option would be to have the tattoo covered over with another tattoo (camoflaged) This is when the artist helps you with the type of tattoo you want and working it around the old tattoo you want covered. It would be alot cheaper doing it this way since having a tattoo removed can cost many $$'s

Good Luck.

It is easier to cover up an unwanted tattoo than to have one removed. Scar tissue occurs after removal. I had one I did not want anymore so my artist covered it and you would never know anything was there before. Talk with your tattooist they can answer your questions. They don't mind and so ask as many as you need till you are happy. The artist want you to be happy with what they do so the aim to please

Don't know if it is removed through laser, but any good tatooist can do a cover up, covering over an old or unwanted tatoo with new work.

yes an old friend of mine had her ex's name covered over with a design as long as you get something in that colour or darker that will cover over the old tattoo it shouldn't be a problem but go to a tattooist and speak to them and they will be able to give you more advice.
