It's not about Iran or N.korea. I don't understand that in current scenario, how can we deprive any country including Iran, N.Korea from nuclear technology. I know that political situation and aggressive history of these countries point in other direction. They have a bad record and we have proofs that Iran has been in volved with terroerist organizations like hezbollah. But what makes these countries a strong contender for Nuclear technology is U.S's attitude. I know its a false notion that these countries are doing it for civilian purposes, but from recent history of world events, it's clear that no country is safe. U.S or I should better say Bush, is trying to achieve personal interests by misusing his power. Today they are negotiating with Iran and N.korea, but tell me, would UN interfere if BUSH attacks Iran or N.Korea. And even if UN interferes, does it holds the power to stop US. we already have seen this in the gulf war. I am not saying IRAN or N.Korea are saints, but U.S's attitude and U.N's lack of integrity is causing a huge sense of insecurity in the world. And I think only way to be secure is to become a nuclear power. Any country would think twice to attack a nuclear nation. I think its not creating insecurity but a sense of international security. I think what India did is appreciable, India has promised that it won't be the first to use nuclear warfare, but would reply back as now it has the power. I don't think a statement like that increases tension in the atmosphere, but it surely gives India a sense of security!!!

well u know what surprises me -- ALL these countries not only what you mentioned -- have spent so much of money in Nuclear weaponry, if they would have spent that money on education -- there would be no poverty, illetracy and unemployment. people still havent learnt it from nuclear destruction in Hiroshima and Nagasaki and "Orange" in Vietnam. i just saw pictures of how the people even today are subjected due to the "ORANGE" they sprinkled during Vietnam war, genetic dieseases due to radioactivity is still prevalent in mass amounts. what surprises me is that people have IGNORED events like -- Chernobyl and Bhopal Gas Tragedy.
