Take lots of buses. It takes awhile, but is cheap and more scenic than flying.

Right now Ecuador seems to be a bargain. From Miami to Guayaquil. is around $500 dollars with tax included. Round trip.

You should fly American Airlines. Inside Ecuador if you take taxis, it is much better and cheaper than renting a car.
Lowest cab fare is one dollar fifty just to give you an idea.

Where are you flying from? Call Peter at STA Travel (617) 373-7900. He gives great deals but he's located in Boston, MA. I wouldn't waste my time if he's not close to you.

Hitch-hiking, but it's far riskier than it used to be.
A bus would be the next cheapest and it's safer.
