No need to tell me I'm going to Hell, I've already packed the shorts, flip-flops & sun tan lotion.

I actually received presents from Santa on x-mas. The cookies were eaten and the milk was gone.

That a very good question. In my opinion, Santa Claus And God are a result of our imagination. I think that's the whole point, because if we had enough proof to prove that Santa or God are real we wouldn't believe in them any more, because we would know for sure that they exist. But if i think about it, Santa and God have the same amount of proof, because we don't really know if what the Bible says is true, if the creation of all living things was made by the power of one divine character, and also, we don't know if Santa really lives in North Pole (of course, we adults know for sure that he doesn't exist, but all little children believe in him, that's what makes it fun :))

Proof, not likely but..... The lore surrounding Santa Claus includes St. Nicholas, which was the church moving in to grab some profits from the tale, then there is a man, said to be an old coal vendor that wore all black and toted a sack of coal. The chunks of coal he carried were to be delivered to good children while the bad children got nothing, thus good children kept warm at night and the bad ones were miserable. So actually the lump of coal was a good gift. With that story told, I don't believe the stories of God has ever indicated that God was a living being. * Notice how both stories are a manipulative ..... making children and man do as they are told, or else?

Neither you babbling fools!

I'm Santa, my oldest knows it and I'm tired of staying up until 2am wrapping presents that will be broken within two weeks. The present day meaning of Santa is a fake.

I really don't want to dive into the whole "God" line of bulls***, but here it goes. The Bible is the greatest story ever told by a group of people who thought they could become more powerful by creating a "being" that people could look up to and believe that this entity could save them from themselves. Guess what folks, this world is still going straight to hell. Yet most of you continue to think that all will be better on the "other side." Why can't your belief change the ways of the world today rather than after your dumb a** is gone? I know, because your beliefs and ideas about an almighty being is misplaced brainpower. Use your time for prayer for something truly useful like helping the homeless situations in the USA. Come down to the soup kitchens or volunteer your time at the local Salvation Army and help people that your "god" has left to die. Great guy that allows "his" people to suffer even more than was written in your "book" about his suffering. Oh, and have you noticed that your book is a version of what a king believes happened? Where are the original scriptures from this Jesus baffoons followers? Hmmmmmm, never was, never will be. Prove me wrong! You can't, so shut up.

God. No one has ever been willing to die for their belief in Santa Claus.

Many things described in the Old Testament have phyical evidence. Ancient Canaanite writings have been found in Ancient Egyptian quarries - the written language the descendants of Israel/Jacob would have known. The account of the Persecution and the Exodus mentions the the Egyptian town of Ramases - which was built on a tributary of the Nile that dried up afterwards, abandoned, and was lost for centuries. How could the writers of the Exodus have known about Ramases unless they were there when it was a flourishing town? How did a tribe - a nation (at the time) survive for forty years wandering arid to semi-arad lands, and then conquer fortified towns, without divine help? The town of Jericho has been found - it did exist. The accounts in the holy scriptures has evidence.

Santa Claus is the corruption of the legend of Saint Nicolas. The laws of physics weigh very heavily against him being able to complete his annual Christmas journey. And why should he only go to the homes of "Christian" children - and not Muslim or Judaic, or Bhuddist?

God has more phyical evidence. Proof? When you die, you either find out that He is real, or you don't find out at all - you rot.

If God does exist you are better off believing and being right than not believing and being wrong. If God doesn't exist, what does it matter - when we are rotting, no one will be saying "I told you so!"

The strongest evidence still is that people are willing to die for a belief in God.

OK i known now I'm going to up set some people, but that's OK i do it all the time, not cause I'm mean, because i state the truth and some can't handle the truth.
there is proof that Santa Claus did in fact exist...but not the way he is viewed upon, he doesn't fly or have fling rain deer. there was an old man named Claus who did make toys and other things for the children. look it up.
as far as god..it is all faith. there is some truth...but there is also flaws in the bible, some of what it says is not fact, such as mosses did not part the red sea.
yes i know I'm going to hell, in somes eyes, but sorry the devil and hell is a Christian believe .....not mine, and I'm not the only one who believes this way.
blessed be

I would think that with all the presents under the tree, the sound of reindeer hoofs on the roof tops and the soot laying at the bottom of chimneys, Santa has the physical evidence in his favor. People talk about God and write books about God but so far, no physical evidence has been collected. I vote for Santa. Besides, wouldn't you rather have a guy who brings you presents once a year and never threatens to send you to any terrible place of torture?

With Santa in my house that is considered me and my husband. I put the warp the gifts and place them under the tree and my husband eats the cookies and milk. My kids know Santa is fake and they don't believe in god neither by their own choice. It's so nice you are going to that imaginary place called "hell". LOL Look on the bright side of it at least there won't be any or at least not that many bible thumpers there preaching to you.

What more proof of God do you need than everything around you?

A friend of mine doesn't believe in God and read a book that a scientist wrote. He actually stated that if you were to separate all our organisms within our body and keep going you would eventually get dust. So even a scientist who believes in the Big Bang has proved that God has made us from dust.

Here's a précis of the cosmological argument.

Every being in the phenomenal world exists contingently. But if every being existed contingently, there would ultimately be nothing for them to be contingent upon. Therefore there must be a being which exists necessarily. That being we call "God."

Does that sound a little more philosophically cogent than Santa Claus? In fact, are you at all capable of evaluating the philosophical cogency of the argument, little angry guy?

God has more proofs but that isn't saying much given that the existence of Santa has none.
