Is it possible to find a job in the USA with a J1 visa?

Of course it is-but it is WAY harder in Cities-you are better of in the summer months to head to holiday resorts like Cape Cod or the Hamptons. As soon as places in cities hear that you are only going to be around for a few months they don't want to know. NYC is especially bad for this!

Charlotte is right about seasonal work, but since it's coming up to the Christmas season, lots of places will be looking for help for just a couple months!
