If the Bible is SOOOO real, why doesn't it mention anything that we actually have proof of.We actually find fossils and other ancient artifacts that are never mentioned in the Bible. But when researchers try to find things that are mentioned like the Arc Of The Covenent or even the final resting place of Jesus or anything else for that matter, they can't. How is it, that the world is still following something that we have no REAL PROOF OF?.

For a biblical study on dinosaurs in the Old Testament, I would definitely recommend using the Authorized Version (AV)/King James Version (KJV) of the Scriptures which were translated into English from the Masoretic text in 1611 [230 years before the word "dinosaur" was available!]. Using a Strong's Concordance, you will find the Hebrew word "tannin" is used 25 times, and is translated as 'dragon(s),''serpent(s),' 'monster(s)' [and, in the more modern versions, improperly as 'jackal(s)']. The key to remember is to look for Hebrew Lexicon #8577.

CREATION WEEK (~4000 B.C.)

DAY 5--[Gen.1:20-21]--Creation of marine monsters (Hebrew "tannin," includes large marine 'mammals' and 'reptiles') and winged/flying creatures (Hebrew "o(w)ph," includes all feathered and non-feathered flyers--even pterosaurs, the flying reptiles!)

DAY 6--[Gen.1:24-25]--Making of dinosaurs and other land creatures, divided among the cattle (Hebrew "behemah," includes all quadrupedal, hoofed/blunt-toed ungulates), beasts of the earth (bipedal/quadrupedal, talon-toed), and creeping things (quadrupedal/multi-legged ground crawlers).

FLOOD YEAR (~2350 B.C.)

[Gen.6:17,19-20; 7:14-15; 9:17,19]--Juvenile representatives of every terrestrial, air-breathing kind (not species), including dinosaurs and pterosaurs, were directed by God to the Ark.

Those outside the Ark would be left to be scavenged by marine predators or be buried and fossilized quickly.

POST-FLOOD PERIOD

MARINE MONSTERS--[Leviathan (Job 3:8-'mourning'; 41:1-34/Ps.74:14;104:26/ Isa.27:1); see also Lam.4:3 & Amos 9:3].

PTEROSAURS--[esp. the bioluminescent flying reptiles (Isa.14:29 & 30:6)].

DINOSAURS--[see Strong's Concordance(KJV) under "dragon(s);" also Exod. 7:9-10 (#8577, not #5175)].

The best dinosaur passage in the Bible is Job 40:15-24 where God speaks to Job concerning BEHEMOTH ["most excellent beasts"--intensive plural of

Day 6 'cattle' ("behemah")], a huge sauropod dinosaur (especially notice verses 17 &19 !!!). Don't forget to ckeck our website for dinosaur publications under "Resources" and...happy dinosaur hunting!

You are very much misinformed.History very much agrees with the Bible.
Archaeological records for example repeatedly harmonize with what we read in the Bible. For example,in the book of Daniel, the last ruler in Babylon before it fell to the Persians was named Belshazzar(Daniel5:1-30)Since there appeared to be no mention of Belshazzar outside the Bible, the charge was made that the Bible was wrong and that this man never existed. But during the 19th century, sevral small cylindrs inscribed in cuneiform were discovered in some ruins in southern Iraq. They were found to include a prayer for the health of the eldest son of Nabonidus, king of Babylon. The name of this son?Belshazzar.Indeed many archaeological discoveries have demonstrated the historical accuracy of the BIble.

The only post-Solomonic historical reference to the ark of the covenant, nearly 900 years after it was made, is at 2Chronicles35:3,where King Josiah,in 642BCE.,commanded that it be returned to the temple. There is no mention of the ark being taken to Babylon.Likewise, there is no mention of it being returned and placed in Zerubbabel's rebuilt temple;neither was a replacement made for it.When and under what circumstances the Ark disappeared is unknown.
2Kings25:13-17;2Ch.36:18;
Ezr.1:7-11,7:12-19.
Jeremiah foretold a time when the ark of the covenant would be no more, but that it would not be missed and Jehovah's worshipers would experience no hardship because of not having it.
In relation to dinosaurs, according to the Genesis account
animals were created during the fifth and sixth creative periods or "days"If the Hebrew expression translated "great sea monsters"(Hebrew tanninim) includes dinosaurs, which often inhabited swampy, watery areas, this would mean that dinosaurs were created on the fifth "day"(Gen.1:21)We do not know if they continued to exist until man was created (toward the close of the sixth "day")At the very latest it seems likely that they must have disappeared off the earth at the time of the flood of Noah's day.
You would benefit greatly from studying the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses. They have a thorough and accurate understanding of the holy scriptures and would be able to help you understand how valuable a book it really is.

Leviathan, in the Bible, one of the names of the primeval dragon subdued by Yahweh at the outset of creation: "You crushed Leviathan's heads, gave him as food to the wild animals" (Psalm 74:14; see also Isaiah 27:1; Job 3:8; Amos 9:3). Biblical writers also refer to the dragon as Rahab (Job 9:13; Psalm 89:10) or simply as the Abyss (Habakkuk 3:10).

I believe that it could possibily be recognizing dinosaurs.

In the Bible, in Job 40:15-24, God describes to Job (who lived after the Flood) a great beast with which Job was familiar. This great animal, called ‘behemoth,’ is described as ‘the chief of the ways of God,’ perhaps the biggest land animal God had created. Impressively, he moved his tail like a cedar tree! Although some Bible commentaries say this may have been an elephant or hippopotamus, the description actually fits that of a dinosaur like Brachiosaurus. Elephants and hippos certainly do not have tails like cedar trees!

Actually, very few animals are singled out in the Bible for such a detailed description. Contrary to what many may think, what we know now as dinosaurs get more mention in the Scriptures than most animals! So dinosaurs—all the different kinds—must have lived alongside of people after the Flood.

One relies on faith which according to the bible: faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. The bible does mention serpents and dragons throughout. Seeing as how these were ancient people who can say if what they were calling serpents and dragons were not indeed dinosaurs. And also think about the time frame, there may have been dinosaurs living at the time of the bible, but perhaps not in the same or area or they may have been about to be extinct. So many maybes. I don't believe we will ever know everything about what happened back in those days. But it behooves us more to be concerned about what is happening in this present day. You have to have faith to believe that the bible is the word of God. It is a matter of personal choice. And lastly consider this, we have never seen the wind, but we know it is there because we feel it blowing on our faces. I hope you get the answers you are looking for.

There are some reference in the old testament. I'll look it up and get back to you. It's my belief that most of the dinosaurs were here before the fall of Adam. Some have survived. Look at all the different animals and reptiles. They have changed (evolved) in the world they live in. The larger ones could not have survived. You need to do more research, there is proof there. Also, faith plays in the beliefs of Christians, but without Grace their can not be faith.

I think the question was answered previously!

I beg to differ. I don't believe a full skeleton of a dinosaur has ever really been found. They might find one bone and then build a dinosaur around it, so technically not real proof. I personally don't believe they existed. But if they did, God must have gotten rid of them - as man could not live with them. As for proof of God - I have the Holy Bible which I believe is "God breathed" - His words penned through men. I have made a choice to believe in God and given Him control of my life - I have real freedom. Blessings.

Dinosaurs? Job and Isiah make mention to creatures that sound like them. Look at Job 40:15, and 41:1. Read the descriptions. These don't sound like regular animals.

Do you know the meaning of dinosaurs? it comes from "dyno" means big and scary and "Saurian" means reptil. it was possible that God had created the dinosaurs and the name of dinosaurs were not mentioned because the creator of the name was not God but Adam. And you know too, all the animal's name that Adam created are not mentioned in Bible. (a few but not all)
