whould i be right in saying that the number of illeagal immigrants has risen and the state of our country has fallen sice the channel tunne opened, lets us get rid of ALL illegal immigrants and shut the channel tunnel also lets take a leaf out of Austrailias book and become as strict as they are with regards to access in to the UK

Our troops should be here patrolling our borders and stopping illegal people coming here willy-nilly. who knows who is coming here?? there are some right dodgy people here now, drug dealers, criminals etc..
and our armed forces should NOT be in Afghanistan or Iraq.

How can we follow the Australians when they are illegal immigrants themselves. They invaded the land of the Native Australian Aborigines. Moreover, they are decents of Ex cons.
Why is it when the White man took over countries like America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa etc... and made the natives into the minorities and treated the natives badly and more over, they entered these countries illegally people seem to see this as ACCEPTABLE.
BUT when other people enter WHITE man land, they are seen to be illegal immigrants and are here to use up resources?
This just shows how racist British people, infact all Europeans are against others.

Not close the Channel Tunnel - but definitely take a more Australian approach and be very strict on the number of people let in. Illegal immigrants need to be tackled and all entrances to the country need to be made more secure. Your name's not on the list - you're not coming in!

not close the channel tunnel cos its a good way for someone to gat to Europe by car or train. Security should be more better to stop the immigrants tho.
And i certainly agree to what you said bout the Australian thing. good idea, but try tellin the government that tho! lol

Wouldn't that be a waste of money?
When we are trying to cut carbon dioxide emissions shoudn't we be trying to promote other forms of transport instead of flying..and many people are still flying from here to Europe and back again.
Are you wanting to shut down the tourist industry as well?

I thought they were going to call it the chunnel. That was back before the construction began, shows how up to date I am on that subject. Anyway, if it will cut down on illegals it must be good.

They won't shut it because that would be political suicide.
Too much tax payers money went into it.
