Do you think some foods are intrinsically female and some male? I don't mean like grammar but avocado, right, do you know any men that like avocado? It's a female thing, right? Like Black Cherry Yoghurt, natural yoghurt, green olives, Lambrini, lettuce. Male food is like spare ribs, pork pies, prawn vindaloo, balti pies. I know it's a generalisation but it's only for fun. Any other very male or female foods?

By your wonderful answers, I am starting to think that women eat food that will keep them alive for as long as possible whereas men tend to (in general) lean towards less healthy, more immediately gratifying food. Is this because cannot conceive of the next 10 years of their life or are they just thick?

I might agree about black cherry yogurt being feminine, but avocado? In Peru males and females had huge ripe avocado slices spread on bread and sprinkled with black pepper for breakfast. Black cherry yogurt, uni-sex. Natural yogurt, unisex and good for you. Green olives, no, sorry; Turkish women who are pregnant seem to have a taste for un-ripe green olives, which are very sour, but otherwise I would say uni-sex. What is or are Lambrini?. Lettuce, uni-sex - and not very sexy. What you are implying is that the male of the species are intent on consuming flesh. Nothing new there then.
Try putting a Black forest cake in front of a male and see what happens. If you fancy a bit yourself, cut a slice first and hide it.

Avo aint just for girls.....niether is a cherry (especially if you look at the literary context of things like cherries.....lips like cherries, *rse like a peach...surely whilst many fruit are associated with women...they are meantioned in the appreciation of women but written about by men....so we as men should infact love the things we asociate with women...so in fact to love spare ribs could suggest quite the opposite.....aaahhhhhh!

I know what you mean. An apple is male, but an orange is female. Male bread is white and thick sliced; woman's is whole grains and thin sliced.

Maybe you are right about the avocado now but in ancient Mexico it was equated with testicles and regarded as an aphrodisiac...

Mussels look like vaginas, they smell like them too. They even have a bit poking out like a clitoris.
