Drown in the city water supply. Electricute yourself on the part of the powerlines that feed power to a large community and cause a major blackout. Drive a large truck off a dam and get caught in the turbines causing it to be shut down. Get creative with explosives and find a very inapropriate public spot (Like wallstreet) to detonate yourself.

I think the most selfish way to kill yourself is by blowing up the entire planet.
No! Cause a rift in the space/time continuum and destory reality.
No! Force-feed yourself to death and eat ALL THE FOOD IN THE WORLD.
No! I can't think of any more.

I never thought about selfishness as part of the suicide behavior. For a long time I've felt that suicide takes a lot of courage... to actually perform the final act that you know will mean the end - it has to be a very desperate moment.
But in the last week, with the school shootings, I would have to say forcing someone else to witness your suicide is very selfish, especially if it's a child. My heart breaks for everyone who is touched by it.

Remember in Seinfeld how a guy killed himself by jumping from the hospital window and he landed on Georges car??
George tried to get the hospital to pay for the damages. I would say that's selfish.
The jumper dented Georges car so he was out of pocket.

i think killing yourself on Christmas eve - being found on Christmas day is most selfish. the holiday will be ruined for all family/friends for the rest of their lives, also not leaving an explaination as to why is selfish as it leaves others wondering why they never saw it coming - filling them with regret and thinking they could've done something.

I know of someone who committed suicide (although fairly clean by carbon monoxide), then left a note asking his son (still in high school) to clean up before his mom got home. Ugh, how thoughtless.

Most selfish suicide I think has been made by the pilots of those planes of 9/11 in New York... If you wat to die - OK, it means you have nothing to lose, but why to kill so many people with you...
