Well your reasons for wanting to go grey are obvious, you have a complex about looking too young. Well unfortunately for most people, they have the opposite problem as grey hair makes them look weathered and unattractive.
I say stop complaining about looking young and enjoy because you will look like an old hag like the rest of us sooner or later. Anyway 37 is still quite young you know, so I dont know why you want to be an old lady just yet.

Some people age well, others don't. George Clooney looks good in gray, but Steven Segall would look weird. My mothers one friend leaves her hair grey, and often people remark that it makes her look evil (Think of Meryll Streep in the Devil wears Prada)
Others look friendly and Granny like.
No two people look the same, so there is no reason why everyone should be forced to stay grey, if we are able to cover it up these days.

It's called preference. Some women want to be grey but to be honest I haven't met any. I have aunts in their 80's that still color their hair and it looks adorable not fake it's a subtle light color very light brown with strands of grey that look like high lights. I say good for them.

I think they're obsessed because having grey hair means you are seen as "old" and people therefore want to stay young and youthful so they dye their hair. Some people don't mind the odd grey hair but some are conscious of their image. But you cant hide the grey forever! Everyone has to age, that's life.

Some people just do not want grey hair. I am starting to get grey and I am 43, so right now I am dying it.

Most people look a lot older with grey hair. Like my dad, he has brownish hair but his goatee turned grey so he dyed it. It just depends on the person, everyone wants to look younger, but in your case I guess not. You're just going to have to wait :P

some people can go Grey at the age of 15 and when you are that young you don't want to be Grey so you dry it and then you have to keep on top of it to look nice

I don't know why you would want to look older. I'm sure the way you dress & behave also determines how people judge you, so may that's why they think you're a teenager. I wouldn't complain! I dye my hair because its the grey is quite noticeable, but there's not enough of it to look good, if you know what I mean. :)

Everyone is different thats why. If I find any grey hairs I pull them out, I hate grey hairs and would hate to turn grey overnight, what a scarey thought!

People don't want to look old and perceive grey hairs as making them look older and less attractive. I'm glad you are happy with the ageing process, but don't ask it to rush on - most people your age would be thrilled to look so young.
