My uncle has a farm. He violates Leviticus 19.19 by planting two
different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments
made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also
tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go
to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them?
(Leviticus 24.10-16) Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private
family affair, as we do with people who sleep with their in-laws?
(Leviticus 20.14)

Honestly - some relatives are just so embarrassing. I'd move town if I was you.

If you're going to quote a (now very old) humour email that's probably circumnavigated the globe at least 10 times, you might as well print off the whole email.

Personally, I enjoy a nice family burning, however, stoning is a communal event, and can help bring the larger community closer to one another.

Since your aunt and uncle probably aren't Jewish, those laws don't apply to them anyway. If you really want rid of your uncle, you could get him on the blaspheming thing though.

be careful when you perform these actions as you are going to violate the laws rules and mores of the society in which you live and must atone for the breaking of these.

Isn't it good to be under grace. Jesus said it best when the woman was caught in adultery... "he who has not sinned, let him cast the first stone..".
