You have many gangs out there more than alot of people talk about like blood and crips. You have the northern Mexican mafia, Nuestra familia, and la m e', You have also blood and crips as above listed. plus triads and other Asian gangs. You have many many Russian mafia gangs as well. Do they make money ? Yes very much so. They work organized and work just as the American mafia does. Meaning they have a military style ranking system where people respond to one another in ranks only. So that the leader could never be implicated to any of the lower ranks and there crimes.
Just as the mafia has capos. Bloods for example have generals or bosses.
The current rough estimate of what they make as far as these gangs above is anywhere from 200k-500k weekly in drugs,gambling,and racketeering as well as protection rackets.
They don't discriminate against money. As well the only reason the mafia allows them to step these boundaries without problems is because the higher ups pay a fee you could say to the mob. This is where they get there political power protection as well. And they get information on sweeps and raids.

I'm sure life as a criminal would be hard. You have to contend with the police, then there are rival gangs. What would be appealing about that? Like any criminal enterprise there are lean times with money and there are good times. Why not try to get a real job and quit the criminal life.

What is there to tell, they are a bunch of undisciplined and uneducated young thugs whose answer to everything is violence. They kill rival gang members as well as their own member when they deem necessary. There is no such thing as loyalty, everyone is dispensable. They don't make money, they steal it, or boost hot merchandise, or drugs. Longevity in a gang is short at best. If they even think that you are a rat, they will kill you.

I don't need points , fact is the USA is gun ridden counrty, when you outlaw guns you'll see the cahnge !!!, gangs are joined by peasants who have nothing better to do than rob those who work honestly for thier moeny. personally ban the guns, and give them LOOOONNNGGG sentences

no i dont sorry. except that there are loads of them and they kill people who have families with kids. fair enough that person is in trouble with them but they still dont need killing or beaten up, how would they like it if it was their family???
